Cassandra joined the transportation industry in 2010 as a Logistics Coordinator for Forest Fibers Inc, now known as Ricova International. During her tenure with FFI, she quickly got promoted to Logistics Manager followed by Director of Operations. She left FFI in 2015 to pursue her childhood dream and become an entrepreneur – which is when CG Group was founded! The company knew its success as a third-party logistics provider and post-consumer recycling broker. Abuse and trauma made her have to close the company down and take about 6 months off work. She took a brief leave from the industry and became one of the Top 3 bilingual sales representatives for Xplornet Communications. Cassandra made her return to the industry in December 2019 as Director of Sales for a small carrier; after about a year and a half – she accepted the position she currently holds as Business Development Manager for Trillium Logistics headquartered in Mississauga who has over 120 power-units. As Cassandra says: ”It’s a dream come true for me to wake-up every morning and know I don’t have to go to work, because my work is my passion, I eat, breathe and sleep transportation. If I get an email or call at 2 am from the office, my fiancé will look at me and say, ”Yes, I know. Transportation never stops!”
